Main Components of Cocoa Bean Peeling Machine

Peeling Roller

The peeling roller removes the outer shells of roasted cocoa beans through mechanical friction, helping achieve stable peeling performance with less bean damage.

Cyclone Shell Collector

The cyclone collector separates and collects cocoa bean shells during operation, helping keep the working environment cleaner and reducing manual cleaning work.

Gravity Sorter

The gravity sorter separates cocoa nibs from shells according to weight difference, improving nib cleanliness and supporting better downstream processing quality.

How Does the Cocoa Bean Shelling Machine Work?

Roasted cocoa beans are fed into the machine. Through mechanical peeling, friction, and air separation, the outer shells are removed from the beans.

The cocoa nibs and shells are then separated by airflow or screening. Clean cocoa nibs are discharged for the next processing stage, while cocoa shells are collected separately.

Cocoa Bean Peeling Stage in Cocoa Powder Production Line

In a cocoa powder production line, the cocoa bean peeling machine is usually used after roasting and before grinding. This stage directly affects cocoa nib purity and downstream processing quality.
